Have Fun at Tuskegee Youth Readers
Learn to Read - Read to Learn
Goals
The TIHS Class of 1974 ReadtoME program has established four starting goals. They are: 1) Identify and contact 100 kids ages 3–5 in the Tuskegee/Macon County area. 2) Provide resources for parents by donating 700 books to the program. 3) Get pledges from 20 Church and Community Organizations to participate. 4) Sponsor at least one ReadtoME activity each week with HeadStart, Pre-K schools, and Day Care Nurseries in the community. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Tony Collins at 310-779-6457 or Email at skegeetony@aol.com.

All About The Tuskegee Youth Reading Club
Welcome
One of the key requirements under the K-3 Literacy Act that will impact a number of Macon County students is that they must reach a certain reading level to advance to the fourth grade beginning this 2021 school year. Testing for kindergarten, first, second and third grades is a state-wide requirement for advancement.
